Apple will retain exclusive rights to the film for a month, after which it will be available on DVD (an exact release date has not yet been announced).Purple Violets, a romantic comedy-drama starring Selma Blair, Patrick Wilson, Debra Messing and Burns, marks the first time a feature film has had its first run on iTunes.
