East Coast Video Show Kicks Off Sept. 303 Sep, 2003 By: Erik Gruenwedel
The burgeoning DVD market for old TV shows and the ubiquitous appeal of adult entertainment are two key topics that will be addressed at the East Coast Video Show, being held Sept. 30 to Oct. 1 at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, N.J.
The show's opening business session will include TV producers and directors who will talk about how shows are developed, produced and released on DVD.
“We wanted to share how retailers can profit from the public's great appetite for these shows,” said Bo Andersen, president of the Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA).
Presented by Home Entertainment Events, which is partners with the VSDA and Advanstar Communications, publisher of Video Store Magazine, the trade show will feature nine seminars on topics ranging from the VHS/DVD dilemma and adult product trends, to staffing issues and surveys on increasing store profits.
