DreamWorks' Sinbad Gives Voice to Shrek25 Jun, 2003 By: Hive News
During the first five days -- July 2 to July 6 -- of the release of DreamWorks' animated adventure Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, each paid child's admission will come with a read-along CD, Shrek and Fiona's Honeymoon Storybook.
Theaters that run out of the CDs will have a limited number of rain checks to offer with instructions on how to get a free copy.
The CD's story line follows the events after the end of the film Shrek and mirrors the short film that shows during the Shrek 4-D attraction at the Universal Studios theme parks in Hollywood, Calif., and Orlando, Fla.
“The storybook serves as the perfect bridge between the original Shrek and the upcoming sequel, which is just a year away,” said DreamWorks head of distribution Jim Tharp. “It also allows young people across the country -- many of whom may never have the opportunity to travel to Hollywood or Orlando to see the Shrek 4-D attraction -- to enjoy the same story seen there.”
