Dish, Fox Settle 'AutoHop' DVR Dispute

Dish Network and Fox Broadcasting Co. have reportedly settled 4-year-old litigation (Fox Broadcasting Co et al v. Dish Network LLC et al, U.S. District Court, Central District of California, No. 12-04529) surrounding the satellite operator’s Hopper DVR and a feature that allows users to automatically skip (“AutoHop”) through advertising on recorded TV programming.
