DEG Launches New HD Brochure at CEDIA5 Sep, 2007 By: Billy Gil
Hollywood-based nonprofit trade organization DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group debuted its “Enhancing the High Definition Experience” brochure at the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) Expo.
The brochure features information on maximizing the HD experience, targeting consumers who already own an HDTV and covering such topics as high-definition packaged media, video games, digital video recorders, video on demand, HD sound and digital radio, and details on A/V separate components and connectivity options for HDMI and multiroom systems. The brochure is in line with the group's aim to encourage consumer adoption of high-definition product, going hand-in-hand with its “HDTV Guide,” available from CEDIA members and retailers nationwide.
“This brochure is the ideal accompaniment to the DEG's HDTV Guide,” Marty Gordon, chair of the DEG Communications Committee, and VP of Philips Electronics, said. “It details for consumers how to take their HDTV to the next level, providing them with the proper tools to have an even richer high-definition experience.”
Hard copies or PDF versions of the “Enhancing the High Definition Experience” brochure can be requested from the DEG office at 310/888-2201.
