Comcast to Acquire Time Warner Cable

Comcast Feb. 13 announced it has agreed to buy Time Warner Cable for approximately $45.2 billion, a merger that would combine the two largest domestic cable companies into one with more than 30 million video subscribers.

Netflix Engages in 'The Clone Wars'

Netflix Feb. 13 announced it has signed a deal with Disney/ABC Television Group and Lucasfilm to exclusively stream in the U.S. and Canada the sixth and final season of the Emmy-winning animated series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” beginning March 7. Accompanying the 13-episode new season will be the entire “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” saga, which includes several director’s cut episodes never seen on TV.
