Report: Comcast Ending Time Warner Cable Acquisition Effort

Comcast reportedly is planning to drop its bid to acquire Time Warner Cable due to ongoing regulatory issues, according to a 'Bloomberg Business' report, which cited sources familiar with the situation.

Hulu, Turner Ink First SVOD Agreement

Hulu and Turner Broadcasting System April 23 announced an extensive, multiyear licensing agreement that will grant Hulu exclusive SVOD rights to previous seasons of programming from Cartoon Network and Adult Swim as well as select current and upcoming series from TNT and TBS. The deal marks the first-ever licensing agreement between Time Warner-owned Turner and Hulu.
