Best Buy subsidiary Suncoast will carry exclusive of Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones merchandise to satisfy anticipated desire from fans of the Star Wars franchise.
The chain expects Star Wars Celebration II this weekend in Indianapolis to trigger a rush for memorabilia that will build through the film's May 16 opening and continue indefinitely. Suncoast is sponsoring the event and will display its exclusive products on site.
Just 500 copies of a leatherbound novelization of Attack of the Clones autographed by the author, R.A. Salvatore will be printed, all for sale at Suncoast's Celebration II booth for $150.
The Star Wars Jedi Cubicard, a six-sided Holocron card featuring Star Wars Saga Jedi, will be offered to any Suncoast customer who spends at least $7.99 on Star Wars merchandise in the stores. There are four different Cubicard designs available in limited numbers, including Saga bounty hunters, Saga villains and the entire Skywalker family –
all provided by Advanced Graphics and only available at Celebration II.
Suncoast stores will be the only brick-and-mortar retailer to carry the official Attack of the Clones theatrical one sheet poster.
Suncoast stores are operated by Minneapolis-based Musicland Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Best Buy Co.
