CinemaPop.com Consolidates With Other Digital Entertainment

18 Jul, 2002 By: Hive News

Kanakaris Wireless has introduced Kanakaris.com, an ambitious interactive entertainment Web site that consolidates earlier Web sites developed by the company, including CinemaPop.com, AK.TV and WordPop.

A $4.95 per month All-Access Pass allows viewers unlimited access to more than 400 click-and-view movies at three different user-selectable bandwidths. A new video player allows easy resizing of the viewing screen up to the full size of the user's monitor.

All-Access-Pass members also get Internet TV, a Web channel featuring 24/7 programming, a program guide and a Now Playing guide; licensed movie memorabilia offered through an arrangement with Collectible Concepts; Print-On-Demand Books that offer users a one-chapter taste before ordering any of more than 500 titles, produced in conjunction with Ricoh Business Systems; Retail Distribution via Kanakaris recently acquired national VHS and DVD distributor, Fast Forward Marketing.

"Kanakaris.com unites all of our entertainment content in one newly designed, user friendly, transactional Web site. Produced by a little and not yet well known company, Kanakaris.com is taking aim to become an Amazon of online entertainment. What we do is significantly different from any other Web site, and we are offering a terrific entertainment value for our $4.95 All-Access-pass subscribers,” said CEO Alex Kanakaris. "Users can register for free and view a five-minute preview of any movie, but they must pay to watch an entire movie. The All-Access Pass gives unlimited access to the online movie library. All-Access Pass subscribers also get

unlimited access to our Internet TV channel, and they will get special offers on our other interactive entertainment features," he added.
