CinemaElectric to Expand Mobile Channels With Mywaves

CinemaElectric Inc. inked a deal with mobile entertainment provider mywaves to expand ad-supported distribution of CinemaElectric's mobile-based content on mobile devices.

Programming from Los Angeles-based CinemaElectric distributed through the deal will include “Portable Hollywood,” which provides Hollywood news and events, as well as “Smashbrain,” which features men's lifestyle content, and Web comedy.

“This agreement significantly broadens our reach and capabilities in the mobile advertising space,” said Ken Wilmer, EVP of marketing and business at CinemaElectric. “We're excited to be partnering with mywaves to bring CinemaElectric programming to a new set of active viewers worldwide.”

The mywaves service allows content owners to send information to mobile carriers regardless of service provider. More than 100,000 channels are available. More information and subscription to service can be found at www.mywaves.com.
