'Chicken Soup for the Soul' Gets Madacy Distribution

Madacy Entertainment along with Vision Films and Hello Media will launch a Chicken Soup for the Soul-branded home entertainment line, starting with the titles A Piece of Eden and More Than Puppy Love, this month. Another four titles are scheduled for release later this year.

Vision Films and Hello Media will handle film acquisitions and Madacy will handle distribution for content licensed from Chicken Soup for the Soul Enterprises.

A team of viewers will watch each film and grade it according to its fit within the Chicken Soup for the Soul brand.

“I believe we are working with a brand name that can cut through the static with consumers,” Madacy EVP Harris Sterling said.
