CD Warehouse and Djangos.com have amended their merger agreement to terminate Jan. 25 if both sides don't have a definitive deal by that date. The merger is subject to approval by CD Warehouse shareholders. Both companies buy, sell and trade used CDs, DVDs and games. Some CD Warehouse franchisees have opposed the sale.
CD Warehouse franchises and operates retail music stores in 36 states, the District of Columbia, England, Thailand, Guatemala, Canada and Venezuela under the names CD Warehouse, Disc Go Round, CD Exchange and Music Trader.
Djangos sells online and through its 19 retail stores in California, Washington, Oregon and Illinois that operate under the names Djangos, Moby Disc, Djangos Cellophane Square, Django Records, and Djangos' Second Hand Tunes.
