CBS to Stream College World Series

CSTV Networks, the college sports division of CBS Corp., beginning May 23 will offer for the first time free live on-demand Web streams of NCAA Division I college baseball conference tournament games.

The coverage includes the College World Series, which begins June 16.

The College Baseball Championship Central package consists of 100 assorted games, which can be accessed via CSTV.com and CBS SportsLine.com, in addition to the competing school and conference web sites.

The CSTV site will also include news, analysis, polls, video features, CSTV's 2006 college baseball player of the year watch and a live tournament blog. The blog features CSTV reporters posting live updates from the SEC, Big 12, ACC and C-USA tournament sites.

Video streams will be available from the Atlantic 10, Big East, and the Big Ten. The ACC, Big 12, WAC and SEC will make select audio broadcasts available, while the Southland Conference will offer streaming broadcasts via a subscription service.
