CBS Bows One-Stop Entertainment Resource

CBS Corp. Monday announced the launch of ShowBuzz, an online entertainment news site showcasing CBS and third-party content.

The ad-supported site features video, interactive segments, photos, maps, blogs and timelines from CBSNews.com, CBS.com, “The Early Show” and “60 Minutes,” in addition to The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, The Book Standard, Broadway.com and MovieTickets.com, among others.

ShowBuzz is divided into nine sections: People, style, movies, music, television, comedy, games, theatre and books. Many of the sections include various sub-units and links such as People's “Milestones,” “In Hot Water,” and “Royalty.”

“With ShowBuzz, we have created a robust website that delivers more entertainment news, more broadband video and images and more local services than any other website out there,” said Larry Kramer, president, CBS Digital Media. “Utilizing all of the resources in our arsenal, ShowBuzz will be for entertainment news what CBSNews.com is for general 24-hour news.”
