Buy.com Makes Eminem Its Cover Boy

Eminem is the cover boy for a limited edition April issue of Buy.com's sales circular, BuyMagazine, which will also carry a feature article on the controversial film and rap star and a photo of his early day lyrics, which has never been published before.

Eminem surprised critics with an outstanding performance in 8 Mile and won an Academy Award for Best Original Song, "Lose Yourself."

Universal Home Video's 8 Mile release on DVD is BuyMagazine's featured DVD of the month and includes a special promotion when combined with specific Eminem music title purchases.

"Eminem is currently America's most intriguing artist, transcending his music career to the big screen and taking home an Oscar to boot," said Stew Duncan, president and publisher of BuyMagazine. "We tried to capture the essence of Eminem's rise to stardom in the April issue, and have included an exclusive photo of his early lyrical notes."

Other articles include an interview with Kelly Osbourne. a regular section called "Review Crew" which reviews the latest console games and April's "Top 10 Hottest Picks" list to let readers know about the hottest products in a variety of categories, including music, VHS, DVD, books, computers, games, cellular, software and electronics.

BuyMagazine, which reaches 600,000 Internet buyers and has attracted a number of high-profile advertisers including Microsoft, Visa, Mazda, Cingular Wireless, Hewlett-Packard, NEC/Mitsubishi, Canon, Linksys and Carnival Cruise Lines.
