Business Travelers Can't Even Get Out of ‘The Office' on a Plane26 Oct, 2004 By: Brendan Howard
The clueless boss. The lazy co-workers. The disruptive interoffice romance.
Don't worry, it's not happening to you this time.
Relaxing thousands of feet in the air, more than 7 million passengers on United Airlines in November and December will get to laugh at BBC Video's first-ever in-flight media buy for the finale special of the awkward comedy “The Office.”
The Office Special streets Nov. 16 at $24.98 on DVD, along with The Office: The Complete Collection (the special and both seasons) at $59.92.
To advertise The Office Special's in-flight airing, United Entertainment Network will show a 60-second trailer and a 40-minute making-of documentary, and the in-flight magazine will include a promo ad on the show's star, Ricky Gervais.
