Disc Down, But Still Dominates in Flat Q3
U.S. consumer home entertainment spending in the third quarter of 2014 was essentially flat with last year’s third quarter according to numbers released Nov. 5 by DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group, while Blu-ray Discs and DVDs remain the industry’s proverbial cash cow, at least in the sales end of the business.
