1 May, 2006 By: Erik Gruenwedel

BCI, a subsidiary of Navarre Corp., May 1 announced four of 20 HD DVD titles slated for release this year.

The first four — scheduled for August release — include That's the Way of the World, a 1975 movie about the politics of the music business starring Harvey Keitel; Galaxina, a 1980 sci-fi comedy starring late Playboy Playmate Dorothy Stratton; and two Spanish horror films: 1980's Night of the Werewolf (El Retorno del Hombre-Lobo) and 1973's Vengeance of the Zombies (La Rebeli?n de las Muertas).

Other titles — Son of Paleface (1952) and The Lemon Drop Kid (1954) — are the first two from the Bob Hope Collection.

All titles will retail for $24.99.

“With the immediate consumer excitement and demand for HD DVD players, we're excited to be one of the first suppliers out of the box with HD programming,” said Ed Goetz, president of BCI.
