BBC Sticks With Warner

11 Dec, 2006 By: Jessica Wolf

Warner Home Video has inked a new distribution deal with 2entertain Video Ltd, the independent audio-video company that handles BBC and other premium British content for the North American market.

BBC product will continue to arrive to American and Canadian retailers via Warner's strong ties in the video retail market, as it has for the past six years.

Under terms of the multiyear agreement, WHV will serve as the exclusive home video distributor of all titles in the BBC library as well as additional titles acquired by 2EV for North American distribution.

“The BBC is indisputably one of the world's leaders in creating original, compelling and powerful television content, and we feel privileged to bring their product to consumers in the US and Canada. Our partnership with 2entertain is a very important one, and the renewal of this deal reaffirms our commitment to the company in bringing its products to the forefront,” said Jeff Brown, WHV's SVP and GM for television and franchise product.
