Batman vs. Robin 'Batman vs. Robin' Tops BD Chart, but 'Hobbit' Battles to No. 1 Overall

Warner's direct-to-video 'Batman vs. Robin' fared the best among the newcomers on the home video charts the week ended April 19, and was the top-selling Blu-ray Disc. But it was 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' that took No. 1 overall on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart, which tracks combined Blu-ray and DVD unit sales.

Fox, NBC Universal Dismiss Verizon Smaller TV Bundle

Fox Sports and NBC Universal have joined ESPN claiming Verizon’s FiOS Custom TV, a new smaller channel bundle costing $54.99 a month, infringes upon existing contracts.

Sky CEO: Netflix Having Little Impact

Netflix launched service in six European countries in 2014 following bows in the United Kingdom and Ireland in 2012. But to London-based satellite TV operator Sky, which also owns Sky Italia and Sky Deutschland, the subscription-streaming pioneer is a non-factor, according to CEO Jeremy Darroch.
