Anchor Bay in Manga Deal

Anchor Bay Entertainment Sept. 1 will begin an exclusive sales agreement for Manga Entertainment's entire collection of Japanese animation series, which include “Ghost in the Shell,” “Ninja Scroll,” “Neon Genesis Evangelion” and “Perfect Blue.”

Previously, Manga product was fulfilled through WEA, under the Palm Pictures label. Earlier this summer, Palm Pictures sold Manga to IDT Entertainment, the parent company of Anchor Bay.

Anchor Bay begins its launch of the Manga catalog with Ghost in the Shell — Stand Alone Complex Volume One and Dead Leaves.
