Amazon.com is blowing out a selection of sci-fi DVDs from MGM and Twentieth Century Fox.

The site is offering up to 50% off the regular price on a spate of sci-fi flicks from the suppliers, including Star Wars: Episode I and II for just $10.97, 45% off the site's list price of $19.98. The most recently released DVD from the prequel trilogy, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, is priced slightly higher at $11.97.

The two-disc releases of the “Star Wars” original trilogy, which hold the original theatrical versions of the first movies, are on sale for $16.97 each, 45% off Amazon's list price of $29.98.

The deeper into catalog listing the sale goes, the lower the price, such as Journey to the Center of the Earth, Robocop, The Abyss, X-Men, Enemy Mine, The Terminator: Special Edition and more on sale for $7.47.

A few titles are running at $4.97, such as Strange Days, Cocoon, Zardoz, One Million Years B.C. and Quest for Fire.

Amazon is touting the sale on the site's front page.
