Allumination Rises With Phoenix

Seeking to expand its presence in the Latino and urban markets, Allumination FilmWorks (formerly Ardustry Home Entertainment), April 11 announced it had inked a multiyear North American distribution and sales service agreement with Phoenix Entertainment Group.

Phoenix caters to urban, Asian and Latino product across all genres, including docudramas.

Upcoming releases include martial arts titles Dragon Dies Hard, Exit the Dragon Enter the Tiger and Avenging Boxer. Action fare includes Final Awakening and Black Fist and Spanish horror titles La Bruja and La Llorona. Also included are urban lifestyle comedies Gangstaz and LA Street Life Vol. 1-4, and music docs Rap Files and The Best of Exclusive Street Battles.

“We continue to seek opportunities to reach other genres and increase our audience,” said Cheryl Freeman, CEO of Allumination. “With additional assistance by Phoenix Home Entertainment Group's sales team, [we] will expand into retailers that specialize in niche markets such as Hispanic or urban DVD releases.”
