Alliance Entertainment Corp. will provide fulfillment, distribution and e-commerce services for Cox Radio, Inc.'s network of 79 radio stations in the United States, the companies announced today.

"We are extremely pleased to partner with Cox Radio in providing services for their online shopping capabilities,” said Eric Weisman, Alliance president and CEO. “TheStore24 will create a valuable cost-saving e-commerce solution for their customers using our pick, pack and ship services.

Cox has adopted Alliance's turnkey e-commerce plug-in “theStore24,” which includes a database, customer direct fulfillment and more than 300,000 other products.

Cox Radio operates 73 web sites through its Cox Radio Interactive division. The sites debuted in January of 2001 featuring station streaming, the popular "last songs played" functionality as well as strong content emphasis on event listings, movie guides and an All Music Guide artist database supplied by AEC.

“With the recent debut of our Version 2 Web sites, we were seeking a sleeker and improved e-commerce solution. We welcomed the product depth and customer support Alliance provided with the rollout of theStore24,” said Gregg Lindahl, VP of Cox Radio. “We look forward to working closely with them on the development of additional features like deep links from the tracks listed on our Last Songs Played or movie listings pages directly to the appropriate CD, song sample or DVD."
