A&E Television Networks (AETB) has signed with Page Digital, Inc., a provider of UNIX-based end-to-end multi-channel commerce systems, to implement an integrated solution for manufacturing and fulfillment of VHS, DVD, and CD products.
To improve management of supply chain processes, AETN partnered with Page Digital, Inc. to develop an in-house operations system.
The standard synaro software, AETN will have the ability to manage a network of outsourced manufacturers, call centers and fulfillment sites for the distribution of products to all wholesale, catalog, DRTV and e-commerce customers.
Some of the key components include help in simplifying order fulfillment processes and integration of systems with outsourced suppliers to improve operations management across the supply chain. Overall, Page facilitates integration, open systems, order management and fulfillment expertise.
“We are delighted to partner with A&E Television Networks, an award-winning television company," stated Dave Joseph, EVP, Page Digital, Inc. “The significance of this relationship is name recognition and further validation of the technology that the synaro integrator offers large organizations. With this application, A&E Television Networks will be able to optimize customer relations and improve day-to-day operations."
