The big Greek phenomenon, distributed in the U.S. by IFC Films, posted a box office take of $13.61 million for the week ended Sept. 22.
Constantine, 75, has had a long career as a character actor in more than 50 major motion pictures and made for TV movies appearing in such films as The Hustler, Beau Geste, Hawaii, Roots: The Next Generation, Voyage of the Damned, Prancer, My Life and many others.
