Fulfillment company and Rentrak subsidiary 3PF, Inc. today announced it has become the fulfillment partner for New York-based California Style, Inc., effective January 1, 2003.

California Style, Inc. offers women's apparel and accessories through their 3 million-circulation catalog, over the Internet at castyle.com and through its upcoming online association with Amazon.com's new apparel store.

"We believe choosing 3PF as our fulfillment partner will dramatically enhance our customers' buying experience with faster, quicker deliveries and simultaneously provide us with more useful information to plan and manage our inventory and reduce our operating expenses,” California Style COO Ed Eichel. “Those are mission-critical factors for any retailer, whether you sell via the web or through bricks and mortar."

Operating from its two state-of-the-art distribution centers in Columbus and Wilmington, Ohio, 3PF will assume all North American warehousing, distribution, order processing, fulfillment and logistics on behalf of California Style's catalog and internet divisions. 3PF will provide integrated call center capabilities through its partnership with Signius, a division of Answernet Network.

3PF's "Essentials" reporting system will provide California Style with critical performance information to enhance their ability to manage the business, identify emerging demand patterns and better understand and track customers' buying habits.

"The services and systems that 3PF offers are designed to provide a better buying experience and to ultimately improve clients' profitability by increasing customer retention and reoccurring orders,” Edward A. Barnick, EVP of 3PF. “We look forward to providing California Style customers with outstanding service."
