2006 VSDA Show Back at the Venetian July 11-1321 Nov, 2005 By: Kurt Indvik
The Video Software Dealer's Association's annual convention, Home Entertainment 2006, will take place July 11 to 13 at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, it was announced today. The 2006 show marks the association's 25th annual convention.
A pre-show conference, indieFEST '06, focusing on issues concerning independent retailers, will be held July 10.
“Both the VSDA and its annual convention remain at the forefront of this powerful and ever-evolving business,” said Liz Crawford, group show director for Home Entertainment Events, which produces the convention. “The future holds significant growth and opportunities as high definition, next-generation video formats and alternative delivery methods enter the market.”
The show returns to the Venetian after a year at the Bellagio. A VSDA spokesperson said the Venetian's exhibit suites and favorable guest room rates will allow exhibitors and attendees to maximize their time and resources at the show.
Home Entertainment Events is a joint venture with the VSDA and Questex Media, publisher of Home Media Retailing. Exhibit space is currently being reserved. Contact Kimbirly Orr (mainstream companies) at email@example.com or Janet Gibson (adult companies) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
