Sony Computer Entertainment America’s (SCEA) latest firmware updates for its PlayStation 3 gaming system offered cosmetic redesigns and were intended to improve user navigation and profile information. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Sept. 28 said going forward it would incorporate directly on a Blu-ray Disc the digital copy of a new-release movie playable on the PlayStation Portable (PSP). The digital file can be transferred from the disc to a PSP using the Blu-ray drive in a PlayStation 3.
