'Twilight Saga' Boxed Set Due Nov. 5

13 Aug, 2013 By: John Latchem

Twihards rejoice! The inevitable boxed set collecting all five “Twilight” films will be arriving Nov. 5 from Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment.

Twilight Forever: The Complete Saga will be available as a 12-disc DVD ($64.98) or 10-disc Blu-ray ($74.99) set that will include UltraViolet access to the films as well as more than two hours of new, exclusive bonus content, in addition to the more than 10 hours of previously released extras.

The five films — beginning with 2008’s Twilight and continuing with Eclipse (2009), New Moon (2010), Breaking Dawn — Part 1 (2011) and Breaking Dawn — Part 2 (2012) — adapt Stephenie Meyer’s books about a love triangle between teenager Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and wolf-boy Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).

The new material includes a cast retrospective with new interviews, previously unreleased behind-the-scenes moments on set, a featurette about the series’ fans, and highlights from Edward’s and Jacob’s individual storylines from the films. The sets come in deluxe packaging with a double-sided box featuring Edward and Bella on one side and Jacob on the other. The discs are held in a commemorative photo album highlighting the most iconic moments from the entire saga.

The five films collectively grossed $1.36 billion at the domestic box office and $3.34 billion worldwide.
