AAA is expecting more than 1.6 million holiday travelers at American airports this week, and NCR Corp. and MOD Systems are hoping quite a few of them take advantage of Download2Go kiosks.
There are now 30 of the kiosks in InMotion Entertainment stores in 17 airports. The kiosks allow consumers to download movies to SD cards for rent or to own, from $3.99 to $19.99. Eat, Pray, Love, Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, The Karate Kid and How to Train Your Dragon are the latest films available.
“Download2Go kiosks are a cutting edge entertainment solution for travelers who have sanity and enjoyment on their list this season,” said Eden Goldberg, VP of marketing for InMotion Entertainment. “Our stores will be bustling with travelers this week and through the rest of the year, and we’re thrilled to offer them the latest way to rent, purchase and enjoy movies during long flights and layovers. Digital movie downloads are a great addition to the holiday travel packing list.”
