Disney Launches Free iPhone/iPod App

Disney has launched a free app for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch.

The Disney App, available at the iTunes App Store, features content on Disney characters, music, video and games. The app will be updated frequently.

Additionally the app has a “Click2Life” feature for iPhone users to take pictures of images from Disney.com and turn them into animated images. And the app will locate other Disney apps and games available through the App Store so users can access those as well.

Video featured through the app includes Disney.com’s “Backstage Pass,” featuring recording artists, and “Spotlight” segments.
