Former Image Entertainment COO John Hyde has resigned his position on the board of parent RLJ Entertainment, according to an April 29 regulatory filing.
Hyde, who was also president of global and strategic development with RLJ Entertainment, left the home entertainment distributor April 23. No reason for his departure was given.
Hyde joined RLJ Entertainment, along with former CEO Ted Green and current CFO John Avagliano, in 2012 when RLJ Enterprises acquired Image and Acorn Media.
Image includes Mark Ward as VP of acquisitions, working with chief acquisitions officer Bill Bromiley; in addition to senior sales executive Ray Gagnon and Alan Fergurson, formerly VP of consumer products and home entertainment with MTV Networks.
