Arçelik to Distribute HDTVs With DivX in Europe

European TV manufacturer Arçelik has teamed with digital media platform DivX to offer DivX Plus HD Certified digital TVs in Europe.
The TVs will allow for DivX Plus HD video playback via the TVs’ USB slot. Arçelik’s DivX-enabled Arçelik, Beko and Grundig branded TVs will be available in 5,000 stores in Turkey and 500 stores in 20 other countries.
