25 Oct, 2011 By: Chris Tribbey

Subscribers to Verizon FiOS and cable operator Mediacom are getting TV Everywhere access to Fox programming, the companies announced Oct. 25.

The deal gives subscribers to those services access to Fox VOD content the day after it airs, with access available for 28 days. Users can access the content at Fox.com, Hulu.com or verizon.com/fiostvonline.

“We want viewers who subscribe to participating pay-television providers to have the most access possible to Fox programming,” said Oren Lieber, VP of distribution for Fox Networks. “We’re pleased that Verizon and Mediacom have recognized the value these services will provide in enhancing the products they offer to consumers.”

Terry Denson, VP of content strategy and acquisition for Verizon, added: “Fox programming is an important addition to both our VOD and online offerings. We continue to put the best content in the hands of our FiOS TV customers, offering a convenient way to access FOX programming in more ways and more places, whether it’s on the TV, online or on a mobile device.”
