The James Bond epic Skyfall will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray Disc Feb. 12 from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, with a widespread digital release a week earlier.

Fox will release Skyfall on Digital HD Feb. 5 across all digital stores, including Amazon, Best Buy CinemaNow, Apple iTunes, Sony PlayStation, Walmart’s Vudu.com and Microsoft Xbox Live. Fox has released other films early digitally, such as Prometheus last year.

Skyfall is the 23rd installment of the Bond film series from Eon Productions, and third starring Daniel Craig as the legendary superspy. The film, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Bond films, is the highest-grossing title in the series, with more than $301 million at the domestic box office, while generating more than $1 billion globally. Sony Pictures theatrically distributed the film, a co-production of MGM.

Extras on the Blu-ray include two commentaries — one from director Sam Mendes and another from producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson, with production designer Dennis Gassner — as well as the theatrical trailer, a “Skyfall Premiere” featurette, and a series of “Shooting Bond” featurettes covering a broad range of topics, including the specific scenes, characters, locations, music and more.

The DVD includes only a few of the “Shooting Bond” featurettes.

Skyfall is nominated for five Oscars, including Best Original Song, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing. Pop artist Adele will sing the nominated title tune at the Feb. 24 Academy Awards ceremony.
