The richest family in town has just moved in, and everyone is trying to (you guessed it) keep up.

With appearances to make and money to burn, The Jones family has no limits when it comes to blowing it all on the newest cars and gadgets. But there’s something about this family that doesn’t quite fit.

Kate (Demi Moore) and Steve (David Duchovny) don’t seem like the happiest couple, and the kids are disengaged. Yet, somehow the cash keeps flowing and the spending becomes more and more extravagant, which is exactly what they want.

The Jones family helps their employer market high-end merchandise that makes their neighbors “ooh” and “ahh” to the point that they ultimately buy. With product numbers through the roof, the Joneses start to have a ripple effect on the neighbors, and a frenzy of spending ensues. While everyone in town starts to idolize the Jones, it quickly morphs into jealous competition. And that’s when all hell breaks loose.

What’s unexpected about The Joneses is that even though they aren’t an actual family, obstacles come their way that soon have them leaning on each other for support. There are many secrets behind the lovely façade they have created, where the promiscuous daughter, the closeted son, the uptight mother and charismatic father all make for one fake dysfunctional family.

Extras include deleted scenes that sort of act as the ‘before’ and ‘after’ of the film.
