To coincide with its release of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, 20th Century Fox home Entertainment broke the Guinness World Record for tallest ice sculpture.
A team of 14 skilled sculptors from Ice Bulb spent four days building the sculpture, which was unveiled Oct. 27 at the grand opening of the ice rink Ice in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 48-foot-8-inch sculpture of Ice Age's Scrat beat the old record of tallest ice sculpture (40.28 feet) by about eight feet.
The animated film debuted on home video Oct. 27. It made $196 million in domestic theaters.
