Fans to Design Cover Art for 'Arrested Development' DVD Release2 Sep, 2014 By: Chris Tribbey
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and “Arrested Development” series creator Mitch Hurwitz are letting fans of the resurrected comedy design the cover art for the DVD release of the fourth season.
The series, canceled by Fox in 2006, was revived for Netflix in mid-2013.
The contest has fans submitting their own cover art for the DVD (which will be released this winter) to the official “Arrested Development” fan art Tumblr page at ArrestedFanArt.com. All submissions will be shown on the site, with Hurwitz choosing the winner (who will also win $1,000).
All submissions must be received by Sept. 16.
“Arrested Development” won several Emmys during its network run, and its debut on Netflix saw subscribers binge-watch all 15 episodes of the fourth season. A fifth season is under development.
