The film earned more than $193 million at the domestic box office but proved a bigger hit overseas, earning $807.1 worldwide.

A three-disc combo pack containing the film on Blu-ray, DVD and digital copy is offered at $39.99 and will contain such extras as commentary by director Carlos Saldanha, deleted scenes, an Ice Age digital storybook maker, two short cartoons starring the squirrel character Scrat, a how-to-draw Scrat tutorial and several behind-the-scenes featurettes. The Blu-ray also includes a link to IMDb.com to look up actors and other information while watching the film.

The $29.98 single-DVD version will include just the commentary. A two-DVD “Scrat Pack” set will be available at $34.98 and will include the single-DVD disc with the commentary and a second disc containing most of the featurettes found on the Blu-ray, plus three exclusive Scrat games.
