Lionsgate Dec. 1 will release a new line of fitness videos by Yogaworks.

The first three videos in the line are YogaWorks: Body Slim, YogaWorks: Beginners AM/PM and YogaWorks: Fit Abs, and are priced at $14.98 each. Each DVD includes a Learning Guide.

Yogaworks is the largest yoga operator in the United States, with more than 23 studios and 150,000 students.

Body Slim combines an active series of yoga postures that specialize in building lean muscle and improving flexibility.

Beginners AM/PM is a comprehensive introduction to yoga. The DVD features a Beginners Class, a Morning Energizer Class that awakens the body and mind, and a P.M Relax and Restore Class that helps users rest and unwind.

Fit Abs combines traditional yoga poses with slow holds and high intensity movements, incorporating interval training. The DVD features a Fit Abs Class and a Core Yoga Flow Class that will all aid in weight loss and help build a strong core.

The new line, in partnership with Lionsgate, is designed to suit anybody’s workout needs and body type.

“We are trying to target a mass audience, and bring a fresh, friendly way to reach the consumers,” said Kajsa Vikman, VP of marketing and fitness at Lionsgate.

The DVDs will have joint promotion from Lionsgate, YogaWorks and Exercise TV. To market the new line, Lionsgate has partnered with Exercise TV, a VOD channel that exclusively offers fitness programming. YogaWorks is holding a grassroots marketing campaign that will allow consumers to see previews and clips from each DVD. Exercise TV is advertising through service providers Comcast and Time Warner, as well as E! Entertainment.
