17 Jun, 2009 By: Isabella Hecht

Terra, a leading Internet company and original digital content producer with a primary focus on the U.S. Hispanic experience, recently relaunched Terra TV in the United States and Latin America. Terra TV is the newest initiative of the Atom Project, Terra’s $10 million yearlong plan to create the portal of the future. The project, launched in January, each month debuts an innovation that will transform the Internet portal.

Terra TV offers users three main channels: Entertainment, News and Sports, in an unprecedented, multidimensional viewing platform that includes interactive features and tools, and third-generation Web video technology. The new platform allows viewers to view high-quality video, as well as letting them vote, comment on videos, and share with friends and family through e-mail and social networking sites.

Users can easily access Terra TV’s video content free of charge at http://us.tt4.terra.com. The portal’s content also is available for RSS and iPhone, and accessible on social networking sites such as Facebook and Orkut.
