Download service Jaman.com Sept. 16 said it would begin offering anime movies and episodic content from Starz Media’s Manga Entertainment.

Feature-length films will be available for $2.99, with TV series episodes available for $1.99.

Titles include the critically acclaimed “Ghost in the Shell,” 1980s series “Robotech,” and other serials including “Astro Boy,” “Street Fighter II V,” “Noein,” “Kara” and “Tactics.”

Movies are viewable on a downloadable PC/Mac-compatible player.

“Animation fans are among the most passionate in the world, and episodic content has proven to be very popular with our audience,” said Gaurav Dhillon, founder and CEO of Jaman.

San Mateo, Calif.-based Jaman, which last month inked a catalog distribution agreement with Lionsgate, has similar deals with Paramount Pictures, First Look Studios, Magnolia Pictures, BBC Worldwide and Arts Alliance America.
