comScore: Hulu Videos Responsible for Nearly One-third of Online Ads

Americans viewed more than 3.8 billion video ads during the month of February, with Hulu generating more than 1.1 billion of those ad impressions, according to online tracking firm comScore.

Time spent watching video ads online totaled 1.7 billion, with online video ads reaching 42% of the population, with each person averaging 30 views during the month.

Google-owned sites, primarily YouTube, continue to lead everyone in online video views, with 141.1 million unique visitors in February. Microsoft sites jumped from seventh to second with 48.8 million viewers. Yahoo sites were third with 46.7 million viewers.
