Blinkx.com Grows Traffic

Video search Web site blinkx.com said it is the fastest growing destination in the United States and among the fastest in the United Kingdom, according to third party sources.

Blinkx, which features 26 million hours of video from 350 content partners, said traffic increased 1,036% from July 2007 through July 2008, ranking it 16th among the top 20 video sites in the United States, according to data compiled by Compete.com.

Nielsen Online said blinkx was the ninth fastest growing site in the United Kingdom, with traffic increasing 681% during the same period.
