Lori MacPherson, EVP, home entertainment, Walt Disney Studios

MacPherson leads the team responsible for creating the consumer-facing products and programs that drive content ownership, expand the studio’s portforlio of brands, franchises and characters — including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and DreamWorks — across physical product and on new platforms and devices and carve new business opportunities in the digital space. In championing Disney Digital Copy, MacPherson used the established Blu-ray Disc market as a springboard for digital ownership and is currently working to simplify the redemption process and integrate a wider variety of partners and platforms. She continues to lead the business development of Disney Movies Anywhere plus the successful launch of new consumer experiences, including Disney Second Screen as well as the testing of new commercial opportunities designed to drive mobile consumption and commerce, such as Disney’s Filmpulse and Disney Zoom. 

Janice Marinelli, president, Disney-ABC Domestic TV

Marinelli oversees Disney film and TV distribution across North America for a wide spectrum of platforms, including VOD, pay-TV, cable, broadcast and more. She manages the distribution and licensing of the studio’s content across a variety of windows and numerous digital platforms. Marinelli negotiates Disney’s digital distribution deals with Apple, Microsoft, Sony, YouTube, Google Play and Toys “R” Us Movies.

Jason Brenek, SVP, international in-home sales

Disney looks to Brenek to oversee all international in-home sales for content from the studio. He works with all Disney sales teams (local, regional and international) and helps set the studio’s windowing strategy and business model for both physical and digital distribution. His team is charged with growing revenue across Disney’s VOD, SVOD and EST channels.
