‘Lady and the Tramp’ Freed from Vault

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is slated to release from its vault Lady and the Tramp: Diamond Edition on Blu-ray Disc Feb. 7.

The 1955 animated love story about a pampered cocker spaniel, Lady, who falls for a street-smart pooch includes a wealth of bonus material, including a commentary, three never-before-seen deleted scenes, a previously unreleased song, several featurettes, an original 1943 storyboard version of the film and more.

The title comes in a three-disc Blu‐ray combo pack (with Blu‐ray, DVD and digital copy) listed at $44.99, as well as a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack ($39.99) and a high-definition digital copy ($39.99).

Those looking for the single-disc DVD or standard-definition digital copy will have to wait until it bows March 27 (prebook Feb. 14) at $29.99 each.

Lady and the Tramp features the voice talents of Barbara Luddy (Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmatians) as Lady; Larry Roberts as Tramp; Peggy Lee (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, American Beauty) as Darling, Si, Am and Peg; and Bill Thompson (Peter Pan, Alice In Wonderland) as Jock, Joe, Bulldog, Dachsie and the policeman.
