9 Nov, 2009 By: Erik Gruenwedel

Sony said it would offer Disney/Pixar’s animated hit Up for purchase Nov. 10 on the PlayStation Network video delivery system — the same day as the DVD/Blu-ray Disc releases.

Up is available to own for $14.99 in standard-definition and $19.99 in high-definition, according to an

online post

by Grace Chen, senior manager at PlayStation Store.

The title is among about 80 full-length Disney feature films that will be available for the first time to the video store for purchase over the next couple of days.

About 60 titles will be available in high-definition, including Disney/Pixar’s A Bug’s Life, Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E and Monsters, Inc.

Until now, Disney titles were available only for rent, with prices ranging from $2.99 to $5.99.
