Testronic to Centralize U.S. Operations15 Oct, 2013 By: Chris Tribbey
Quality control company Testronic Labs will centralize its U.S. operations at one redesigned Burbank, Calif., location beginning in November.
For seven years Testronic has operated two locations in Burbank. Putting everything in one building will help streamline the company’s services, said Jason Gish, SVP and GM of Testronic’s U.S. operations. The address for the location Testronic will perform all of its testing and quality assurance services is 111 North First St.
“We have spent significant intellectual and financial capital to build out our downtown Burbank test environment, where we unveiled our file-based [quality control] lab, UltraViolet interoperability testing services, and other innovative offerings like user experience testing for entertainment content,” Gish said. “Testronic is focused on staying ahead of industry needs, and we saw an opportunity to improve our services by creating a central hub, with everything and everyone in a single space. The physical consolidation enables a centrally managed core that takes advantage of the latest technology and allows access to our expert staff in one location.”
Along with the above services, the location will be home to Testronic’s services for testing digital content for over-the-top companies, including iTunes, Netflix and Hulu, along with website, Web portal and content rights redemption testing. The move should be completed by Nov. 15.
“Even as our business grows and our service offerings expand, we are continually analyzing the way we work and consistently focus on ways of working smarter,” Gish said.
