Walt Disney Studios has agreed to license its content to transactional VOD entertainment service M-Go, covering content from Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios and DreamWorks Studios.
The company has also launched a new iPad app — called M-Go to Go — that opens up offline M-Go movie viewing.
“Securing this important partnership to get consumers access to coveted Disney content in combination with the launch of M-Go To Go is our company’s latest proof point in delivering on M-Go’s mission to get people to the entertainment content they love as quickly and easily as possible on the devices they choose,” said M-Go CEO John Batter. “This is the perfect combination of exceptional content and mobility that will make gifting and travel a true joy this holiday season.”
Disney movies available at launch include Iron Man 3, The Avengers, Monsters University, Planes, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Mickey’s Christmas Carol, Finding Nemo and the “Toy Story” films.
